Instructor Biography
Ezanizam Mat Soom is a certified Chartered Engineer (CEng) by the Engineering Council, UK, and a Chartered Marine Engineer (CMarEng) by MiMarEST, with over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry across a range of companies in the disciplines of civil and offshore structures. Extensive experience in project management, FEED, detail design, fabrication/construction, installation and structural integrity management. He holds a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering, as well as a PhD in Offshore Structural Reliability, both from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). His current position is as Lead Engineer, Structural and Technical Authority.
Nursyafiqah Mohd Noh is a Structural RBI Engineer with over six years of experience in the oil and gas industry, focusing on asset integrity and structural integrity management systems. She holds an engineering degree from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS and has developed experience in structural underwater RBI and asset life extension.
Mazlina Mohamad is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA. She holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, where her research focused on offshore engineering. Currently, she continues to research the structural reliability of fixed offshore platforms. Dr. Mazlina has published extensively in these areas, contributing to numerous academic journals and international conference proceedings.
Mohd Khairi Abu Husain serves at the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He holds undergraduate and PhD degrees from the University of Liverpool, UK. A dedicated researcher, he has published over 100 works and secured more than 60 local and international grants. He is a registered Professional Engineer (BEM), a Professional Technologist (MBOT), and a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Marine Engineer with the UK-based Institution of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST). He is also the Co-Founder of ACTS Smart Solutions, a UTM spin-off company offering consultancy services focused on offshore platform reliability and performance.
Noor Irza Mohd Zaki is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). She earned her undergraduate and PhD degrees from the University of Liverpool, UK. Her research focuses on structural reliability and integrity analysis, with an emphasis on offshore engineering. She is a Professional Engineer (BEM), a Professional Technologist (MBOT), and holds both Chartered Engineer and Chartered Marine Engineer designations. Dr. Irza is also a Fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) in the UK. She co-founded ACTS Smart Solutions, a UTM spin-off that offers consultancy services in offshore structural reliability and performance.
