Creative Media: Guide for Non-Designers
The influence of creative media has grown to be an unstoppable force in a time when digitalization shapes how we perceive, connect, and communicate with the world. Whether we are scrolling through appealing social media feeds, engaging with immersive websites, or watching interesting videos, design and media have a significant influence on everyone and everything, leaving a lasting impression on the way the think. Yet, amid this visually dynamic landscape, there exists a gap that often separates those with a formal design background from those who approach creative media as a means to an end-an avenue for expressing ideas, connecting with audiences, and sharing stories.
Goals/Objectives
This book, which was written with non-designers in mind, is not a collection of ideas or a collection of software tutorials. Instead, it is a comprehensive journey through design theory, visual narrative, user experience, and research in design. It is an exploration of how color, typography, imagery, and composition converge to create compelling visual narratives. Whether you are an entrepreneur aiming to craft a striking brand identity, a marketer seeking to captivate your target audience, a student aiming to enhance your presentations, or anyone with a desire to communicate effectively through visual means, this book will equip you with the principles, techniques, and inspiration to bring your ideas to life.
