Understanding research problems is becoming crucial in the social sciences. One approach to comprehend the research problem is to rely on theories generated in the field. In many circumstances, theories are produced to explain, predict, and interpret phenomena, as well as to challenge and extend present knowledge within the restrictions of critical border assumptions. In conjunction to this, the publication of this book has as its central theme the development of research models in the field of social science as something virtuous and in line with the need for knowledge advancement


Goals/Objectives

This book will increase readers’ comprehension and spark a discussion that will result in fundamental changes and a revision of opinions in the area of social science, namely in the fields of business, management, and finance.

Instructor Biography

Zuraidah Mohamed Isa is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of MFinance, Faculty of Business and Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Kedah Branch. She holds a PhD in Finance and Banking from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) in 2018. She is an active researcher in both publishing and research, having published over 50 papers in the form of journal articles, conference proceedings, bulletins, and book chapters, including WoS/Scopus indexed worldwide and national works. She also serves as a peer reviewer for indexed journals, such as the Scopus index and conference proceedings and bulletins. Currently, she is also serving as the editor in chief for the FBM Handbook as well as the FBM Insights publication.

 

Norhidayah Ali is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Kedah Branch. She holds a PhD in Marketing in Consumer Analysis from Universiti Utara Malaysia in 2017. She has published several articles in national and international publications and some articles have been published in Scopus/WOS journals, journals, conference proceedings as well as bulletins. As today, she has obtained 6 research grants with 3 completed research and 3 active/ongoing research.

 

Azyyati Anuar is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Kedah Branch. She holds a PhD in Operation Management in Lean Healthcare from Universiti Utara Malaysia in 2018. She has published several ,articles in national and international publications and some articles have been published in Scopus/WOS journals, journals, conference proceedings as well as bulletins. As today, she has obtained 14 research grants with 6 completed research and 8 active/ongoing research.  

 

Daing Maruak Sadek is a Senior Lecturer at the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Kedah Branch. He holds a PhD in Operation Management in Lean Healthcare from Universiti Utara Malaysia in 2021. He has published several articles in national and international publications and some articles have been published in Scopus journals, journals, conference proceedings as well as bulletins. As today, he has obtained 5 research grants with 3 completed research and 2 active/ongoing research.

 

Fariza Ahmad Mahyadin @ Mahidin is a Senior Lecturer at School of Technology Management & Logistics STML), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). Her current position is Coordinator for Bachelor of Logistics & Transportation, STML, UUM. She previously worked as lecturer at Polytechnic Seberang Perai for Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Programme. She obtained her PhD degree from UUM in 2018 and has taught in the area of Operation Management, Procurement Management, Project Management, Inventory Management and Warehouse Management. Her research interests are in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management Practices, Inventory Management Performance and Total Quality Management. She has published papers in Asean Entrepreneurship Journal, International Journal of Supply Chain Management and International Academic Research Journal of Business and Technology.

 

Suhaida Abu Bakar is a Lecturer at the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Kedah Branch. She holds a Master in Islamic Studies (Shariah) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2010. She has published several articles in national and some articles have been published in journals, conference proceedings, books as well as bulletins. As today, she has obtained 7 research grants with 4 completed research and 3 active/ ongoing research.

 

Fathiyah Ahmad @ Ahmad Jali is a Senior Lecturer at the Academy of Language Studies, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Kedah Branch. She holds a Master in Applied Linguistics from Universiti Utara Malaysia in 2012. She has published several articles in national and international journals. In addition, she has participated in a few innovation and idea competitions as well as managed to win Gold Awards for INDES 2015 and LIID 2019.
