This book aims to offer valuable insights into management accounting and forensic perspectives within the ASEAN region, with a specific focus on Indonesia and Malaysia. Understanding the industry is of utmost importance, particularly in emerging areas of accounting. This is where contemporary elements that have developed, such as forensic accounting, criminology, and money laundering, are incorporated to a certain extent. Therefore, it is highly recommended that readers familiarise themselves with the current situation and the expansion of accounting, management accounting, and forensic accounting in today's contemporary business world. The goal is for this book to provide additional insights and understanding beyond traditional perspectives.


Instructor Biography

ROZAINUN ABDUL AZIZ was at UiTM during her tenure as the Dean of the Faculty of Accountancy for three terms (2011–2017). She and her team played a pivotal role in continuing the development of accounting education, leaving a legacy. They provided valuable opportunities for accounting students and the profession across Malaysia and supplied the accounting workforce at large. Additionally, Rozainun has served for two terms as a council member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and is a Chartered Accountant herself, between 2013 and 2017, and is currently serving as a member of the MICPA Disciplinary Board.

 

MARTHA FANI CAHVANDITO is a Professor at Padjadjaran University Indonesia in the areas of strategic management, business ethics, and CSR. He completed his doctoral degree in the field of sustainability management and communication from the University of Freiburg, Germany. He has been assisting various companies in developing roadmaps, implementing and evaluating ESG, sustainability, CSR, and social innovation programmes, as well as preparing sustainability reports. In addition to journal articles, he has written several books, including Corporate Sustainability Reporting: A New Approach for Stakeholder Communication and Strategic Management: Road to the Essence of Sustainable Competitiveness: Theory and Implementation of Sustainable Strategic Management Patterns.

 

ERLYNDA KASIM is a lecturer in accounting and an experienced financial trainer, with a focus on sustainability. She has a passion for helping individuals and organisations improve their financial decision-making processes while also considering the impact on the environment. As a seasoned professional, Erlynda is known for her ability to deliver training sessions that are both engaging and informative. She has also published various articles and papers related to her field of expertise, and her research has been presented at national and international conferences. Erlynda earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting from University of Indonesia and Padjajaran Universities.
